I think that the blog has been a great tool to use for this class. Not only were we able to submit our assignments online, but we were also able to receive feedback from our classmates. It was also interesting to see how other people’s responses varied from mine for certain topics. Several of us ended up being together in a group for another class. We used the blog to post our ideas and respond to our group member comments on the project. We really needed a place where we could have all of our ideas and comments at. Our blog was exactly what we needed. Depending on the amount of computers in my future class that I will be teaching, I would like the children to use the blogs as their journals. That way they can record entries in their journal in school or at home. If they find a cool site that is relevant to the class material, they can post the link on their blog and then show it in class. There are so many ways to use a blog for educational purposes. It’s an easy-to-learn tool that all teachers should use in the classroom.
